Important policies and procedures

At Sheri's Pampered Pets, we strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and positive grooming experience for every furry client. To ensure this, we have established a few key policies and procedures. Understanding these guidelines helps us serve you and your pet better, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit every time.

Frequently asked questions about our policies

We understand you might have questions about our grooming process and policies. We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to provide you with quick and clear answers. Our commitment to quality and integrity extends to every detail, ensuring transparency and trust with our valued clients.

What are the crucial rules pet owners need to understand before bringing their pet for grooming?

All pets must be current on their rabies vaccine. Owners must notify us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We require 48 hours notice prior to an appointment for cancellation. Clients must confirm their appointment on the reminder text, or we will cancel the appointment and charge a full missed appointment fee. Owners must disclose if their pet is in heat, has fleas, or has special needs prior to appointment arrival.

How do you ensure every pet is safe and comfortable during grooming?

If at any time a pet acts in an unsafe manner, for example, showing severe aggression, severe stress, or fear, we will discontinue the groom and reschedule for the pet's comfort. Your pet's well-being is our top priority.

How do you handle emergencies or unexpected situations during grooming?

We require your vet's name and phone number in the event any issues should arise. If you are not home, you give us permission to seek veterinary care at your expense.
